Here in South Florida the summer is nearly year round giving residents plenty of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. And there is nothing quite like having your own backyard retreat. We have been working on creating ours and chose to use native plants that attract birds and butterflies. We planted small and medium-size trees which brought the temperature of our backyard down to a comfortable level even on some of the hottest days. Next on the list – a water feature
