Fantastic restaurants are plentiful in Jupiter and the surrounding area. One the greatest benefits to living in Jupiter is the many choices we have when it comes to waterfront dining. All along the beaches, rivers, and Intracoastal Waterway of the Palm Beaches and the Treasure Coast are waterfront restaurants with outstanding views. Lighthouses, islands, ocean wildlife, and marinas are just few of the sights you can see while enjoying dinner at these waterfront restaurants. There some that have docks for those arriving by boat and many have live entertainment. Check out Down by the Water published by Jupiter Magazine for a comprehensive list of waterfront restaurants.

Revitalizing Abacoa Town Center

plans for entertainment center in Abacoa Town Center
Hope for the revitalization of Abacoa Town Center rest on a new entertainment complex
Jupiter-based Frank Family Entertainment Group, which in December opened Revolutions in CityPlace in West Palm Beach has plans to bring a 75,000-square-foot entertainment complex to Abacoa Town Center. The complex will be constructed on the vacant site which was the home of now demolished Crown Theater. The complex, CineBowl & Grille would be a within walking distance from Roger Dean Stadium and will feature:
- A dozen luxury movie auditoriums with leather recliners
- A restaurant and bar
- Pool tables
- Video games
- 20 bowling alleys
It is slated to open in late 2015 with hopes that this could be the project that jumpstarts the revitalization of Abacoa’s Town Center.
“(The new entertainment complex) is extremely important to the revitalization of Town Center. With the opening of the hotel, there are more reasons for people to come back here,” said Beth Kelso, executive director of Abacoa Property Owners’ Assembly.
